Artsmark and Arts Award

About Artsmark

Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings, awarded by Arts Council England, recognising their commitment to high quality arts and cultural education. Artsmark provides a clear and flexible framework to embed creativity across all subjects. It provides teachers an opportunity to invest time in integrating culture into school priorities, as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.

Artsmark Partners

Many members of Southampton Cultural Education Partnership (SCEP) are Artsmark Partners who can support schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey; motivating, inspiring and challenging students and staff to create, experience and participate in Southampton’s cultural offer.

About Arts Award

Arts Award is an adaptable framework that can be shaped to fit the interests of young people looking to explore to arts, culture and heritage. The qualifications – which range from Discover and Explore, to Bronze, Silver and Gold – give recognition to young people up to the age of 25 for the passion and commitment they demonstrate as they grow as artists and arts leaders.

Many members of the SCEP offer Arts Award through their existing activities and can also allow you to build a visit, performance, workshop, tour, talk or other activity into your Arts Award plan.

Please get in touch directly with SCEP members to find out how they may be able to support your young people to achieve their Arts Award.
